What is Konnect?
Konnect enables easy video calling through the TV. It has three parts:

The Hub is mounted to the top of the TV and has the camera for making video calls.

The Processing Unit connects the Hub
to the TV with an HDMI cable.

The Remote Control operates the
“Yes”/ “No” TV interface.

How do I make a video call from my TV?
The remote control takes you directly to the Konnect video calling option. Supporters can call using the Konnect app (Android and iOS) via their phones, tablets, or PCs.

Does Konnect need the internet?
Yes, either through a mobile hotspot or preferably your home WiFi. You can use your existing TV (the TV does NOT need to be Smart or internet-enabled) as long as it has an HDMI port. Konnect works best with Samsung, Sony, LG, JVC or Panasonic TV’s.

How does the Konnect TV interface work?
The interface is opened by pressing the heart button on the Remote. It is a carousel and options can be selected by answering “Yes” or “No” to the question on the screen using the green or the blue buttons on the Remote. Easy to use, no training needed.

Is Konnect’s camera always on?
No, a mechanical shutter obscures the camera when it is not being used for a call. For a video call the shutter automatically slides open, and as soon as the call is finished the shutter slides back in front of the camera to guarantee privacy.
Is Konnect hard to install?
Konnect can be installed within minutes through these 4 simple steps:
